Jill Thomas has posted a sneak peek of our wedding photographs! The ones featured in her blog were amazingly shot with film and turned out so beautiful. Nick and I are so happy that we chose Jill to capture our special day. We can’t wait to see everything else! I have a couple of Polaroids she shot that day which I’ve also been meaning to scan.

Gettin’ Married!

I am getting married this weekend! And then we are going to Oahu, Hawaii! I am so excited!!!
engagement session
If I haven’t already shared it on this blog… I’m engaged! I’m getting married in early 2010 — so it’s coming up! Things are getting crazier and crazier with all the planning and preparations that need to be done beforehand. But, on a lighter note, one of the funner things to do while planning a wedding is having an engagement session! As a photographer, I felt totally awkward being in front of the camera – but Jill is really great and helped us to feel at ease and be ourselves. I also learned a lot being on the other side of the camera, and have some ideas for my upcoming senior portrait shoot with my sister.
But not to get side tracked, here are a few of the photos Jill shared with us. I love how these turned out! I can’t wait to see them in print form… and I can’t wait to see Jill again on our wedding day!
f & e : the wedding {july 27, 2009}
i had the pleasure to join uncle randy & my future sister-in-law alyssa in photographing a wedding at the hanoum estate in oakley, california. lovely venue & a lovely couple. f & e were married yesterday. since uncle was the primary photographer, he will be doing all the post-processing for the couple but i wanted to share a couple of my favorites. the junior bridesmaid and flower girls were a joy to work with. the entire wedding was held outdoors in triple-digit heat — and there was a huge guest list of 200+ guests. what an experience for my first wedding!
the library was my favorite room in the estate. :)
