T.Y. Harbor Brewery

Nikita took us to Shinagawa to have lunch over the water at T.Y. Harbor Brewery. I was really surprised because I always thought Shinagawa was boring and ugly, but it’s actually quite beautiful once you walk away from the station.

T.Y. Harbor Brewery

T.Y. Harbor Brewery is a very American-style restaurant and brewery. Eating here reminded me a little bit of the Ferry Market Building in San Francisco.

We started off with drinks. The boys ordered the beer sampler, which featured a glass each of Pale Ale, Amber Ale, Wheat Ale, and Brewer’s Choice. The beer of the day was a lemon ginger beer.

Becks and I got really excited when we saw buffalo wings on the menu. We had both been on the hunt for wings near us, but haven’t had any luck. The buffalo wings here were spicy but delicious, with a little bit of crunch, and were served with celery and blue cheese dip (instead of ranch).

Nikita had the seafood salad; Becks had the crab cakes; I had the fish and chips…

And Nick and Jerome both ordered the pork ribs. The ribs were amazing! They came with cole slaw and Parmesan fries on the side.

Done drooling yet?

If you happen to be in Tokyo, it’s definitely worth a visit. The food is a bit pricey, but the portions are large and the location is really nice. Be sure to ask for outdoors seating.
