there is no such thing as too cute

Did I mention how much I loved it in Southern California? It was hard for me to believe that I was at the beach at the end of December, in the middle of winter, and at the beginning of January.

I spent 14 days in California and it was warm, fun, and lovely.
I enjoyed fresh avocado, 80° sun, and the feel of sand in my toes.

California, I love you. You will always and forever be home.
But it’s also good to be back in my home away from home.
Japan, I’m not quite ready to leave you yet. Not just yet.

Looking back on 2011, I realize it wasn’t the best of years.
Here’s to 2012; a fresh start, happiness, and new adventures!
