A forever-WIP that I think I’m finally close to finishing. I started this ripple blanket maybe two years ago with some vintage yarn I recieved from g* swaps or bought at a thrift store. I guess I didn’t like how it was turning out, because I never really worked on it.
This summer, however, I made really good progress. As of tonight, it measures approx. 44″ x 52″ and is continuing to grow in length. It’s a mix of vintage yarns and now, leftover yarns from my stash that I am trying to use up before I fly out to Japan. The goal is to finish it before I fly out. I’m debating whether I should ship it to myself in Japan, but I hear that clothing and other fabrics can get moldy due to the humidity so it may just have to stay here in California and wait for me when I get back.
The yarns are mostly acrylic though there may be some wool/acrylic blends mixed in, and using a Size K hook.
