This weekend, we celebrated our one-year wedding anniversary! It is hard to believe that one year has already flown by so quickly. We spent the weekend in Izu Peninsula, which included a trip to Kawazu-cho. Kawazu-cho is a small town located on the east side of Izu Peninsula. It is famous for its early-blooming cherry blossom flowers (sakura). From February through mid-March, the town holds an annual Cherry Blossom Festival. Most of the trees line the river, along with the several street shops and food vendors.
This photograph was taken with a Polaroid SX-70 Time Zero Onestep + Polaroid 779 film.
Should remind you of early spring around our neighborhood…have a pix of a 5yr old you surrounded by yellow flowers of wild mustard & those multi colored ornamental pears lining residential streets. It’s here, mini-Japan, Fairfield USA. Great shots Shar! Luvya misya.
